Hays are seeking an experienced HR Coordinator for a 3-month contract role with a large government organisation.
Your new role
As a Senior HR Advisor, you’ll be part of a high-performing team that provides strategic and operational support across a broad portfolio. You’ll work closely with leaders and senior managers, offering expert guidance on recruitment, performance management, grievance resolution, and complex employee relations matters. Your ability to manage sensitive issues with discretion and professionalism will be essential.
What you'll need to succeed
This role requires a high level of autonomy and initiative. You’ll be trusted to make sound decisions within a framework of departmental policies, legislation, and delegated authority. You’ll also play a key role in building capability across the organisation, helping leaders navigate HR processes confidently and effectively.
You’ll also bring:
- A solid foundation in HR strategy and operations, ideally within education or government.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities.
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a supportive team culture.
