Our client is a highly respected Australian family-owned company who specialise in selling and servicing trucks and buses.

Your new role

As a skilled and experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of trucks and buses.

• All service and maintenance requirements on the customer’s fleet
• Ability to work autonomously and provide exceptional customer service
• Ability to communicate effectively and in a timely manner with colleagues, customers, and drivers
• Document all repairs including parts usage
• Par-take in the on-call roster with regular overtime
• Strong Work and Health Safety commitment

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum Cert 3 Mechanical trade certificate/qualification with experience in the Heavy Vehicle industry
• Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
• Good diagnostic ability with welding and fabrication experience is beneficial.
• Current HC driver's licence desirable
• Attention to detail and customer focus
