Your new company

Hays Trades and Labour is partnering with an established leader in the waste management and recycling industry who operates a fleet of specialist equipment across Victoria. With close to 4 decades in the industry, they are a true leader, who is dedicated to delivering value to their longstanding customers.

Your new role

Within this position you will be required to work both as a part of a close-knit team and autonomously, repairing, servicing, and maintaining specialised vehicles. As well as the following:

  • Using diagnostic tools to identify faults and perform repairs as required
  • Performing scheduled maintenance tasks
  • Uphold a safe work environment
  • Report all work that has been carried out through logbook requirements

What you'll need to succeed

  • Certificate 3 in mobile plant technology or Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology
  • Experience working on heavy machinery. Trucks and Plant machinery experience is highly desired
  • Current drivers’ licence, reliable transport and own tools
  • Strong diagnostics and troubleshooting experience
  • A safety and compliance driven approach to your day to day
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to work well under pressure
