Hany Person / Carpenter to carry out maintenance on Sydney's Northern Beaches and North Shore

An established and highly regarded facilities maintenance company servicing a long‑standing portfolio of blue‑chip commercial clients. Due to continued growth, they now have an immediate requirement for an experienced Handy Person / Maintenance Carpenter to join their team, servicing sites primarily across Sydney’s Northern Beaches and North Shore.

Your new role

As a Handy Person / Maintenance Carpenter, you will be responsible for delivering all‑round reactive and preventative maintenance across multiple client sites. The role is predominantly field‑based and suited to someone who takes pride in their workmanship and customer service.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
General building and carpentry maintenance worksBasic carpentry repairs, adjustments, and installations
Minor plumbing repairs (non‑licensed works)
Replacing lamps and fittings
Painting, patching, and minor finishing works
General site maintenance and defect rectification
Liaising professionally with clients and tenants
Coordinating and supervising subcontractors where required
Completing basic job reporting and documentation

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
Proven experience in all‑round maintenance or maintenance carpentry
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage daily workloads
Basic computer skills for reporting and job updates
A proactive, reliable, and professional attitude
No previous criminal convictions
