Based in Melbourne’s CBD, this leading professional services organisation is seeking a highly strategic People & Culture executive to lead the function through its next phase of transformation. The role offers a competitive salary package of up to $225,000 + super.


Your new role

As GM, People & Culture, you will lead and shape the strategic direction across all areas of People, Culture, Capability, and Wellbeing. Working closely with the executive leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in embedding people-focused strategies into the broader corporate strategy. You will drive the development and direction of the People & Culture team, delivering key initiatives including succession planning, employee engagement, performance management, diversity & inclusion, and rewards. A key priority will be to transform the function from a traditional support service into a proactive, strategic business partnering model.


What you'll need to succeed

In order to succeed in this role, you will need:


  • Prior experience in a strategic leadership role, working with the executive team and board of directors
  • Strong understanding of risks and psychosocial hazards in a corporate environment
  • To be able to act as the key ambassador for the organisation internally and externally
