Duration: 6-month Contract

Work Arrangement: Hybrid

Location: Melbourne CBD

Your new role

The GIS Analyst supports business groups across the client through the use of geospatial data, spatial analysis and mapping products.

Accountabilities

Scope and deliver complex spatial data solutions to support business needs and directives.
Lead the delivery of work in relation to spatial information and visualisation projects across the client under limited supervision. This includes work co-ordination: assigning, monitoring and reviewing the work of contractors or junior team members.
Improve existing spatial information products, processes and services using advanced technical knowledge and experience.
Provide technical input and subject matter expertise for business-initiated Geospatial Projects.

What you'll need to succeed

Extensive experience with Esri GIS software, including ArcGIS desktop products, ArcGIS Online and a range of other software offered in the ESRI product suite.
Demonstrated experience working with spatial data with a strong understanding of spatial data formats, map projections, data schemas.
Experience in using spatial tools for automating complex data workflows and solving spatial data problems.
Experience working with remote sensing datasets, including aerial photography, satellite imagery, and LiDAR, for analysis and classification purposes.
