Your new company

This Chinese-backed developer is delivering 200–300 townhouses south of the river and is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to support ground investigations and foundation design. Mandarin or Chinese language skills are a plus.

Your new role
- Conduct soil investigations and lab testing coordination, mainly south of the river.
- Analyse ground conditions and advise on foundation design.
- Prepare geotechnical reports for planning and construction.
- Monitor site conditions and resolve geotechnical issues.
- Collaborate with civil and structural engineers.
- Ensure compliance with Australian Standards and NCC.
- Communicate with Mandarin-speaking teams (if applicable).

What you'll need to succeed

- Degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering.
- Experience in residential geotechnical work (within WA preferably)
- Familiarity with Perth soil conditions.
- Strong reporting and analytical skills.
- Mandarin/Chinese language skills desirable.
