Your new role

Our client is currently seeking gatehouse operators to join the team across their waste disposal and recovery facilities. This position will see you responsible for:

• Monitoring and controlling access the landfill and transfer stations
• Providing front line customer service
• Assisting customers with correct use of the site and direction to appropriate areas
• Encourage waste diversion and provide assistance to resolve queries
• Ensuring efficient flow of traffic

What you'll need to succeed

The successful candidate will have previous experience within customer service and hold the following:

• C Class Driver's Licence
• Strong communication skills and a customer focused attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Be able to pass a medical and Drug & Alcohol test
• Complete a Police Check as required (Hays paid if successful)

In return, our client can offer an initial 3-month contract, with the view to extend, an attractive hourly rate and an immediate start.
