Due to ongoing project demands and a growing pipeline of work, they are seeking experienced Floor Preparation & Restoration Technicians to support project delivery across multiple south of the river sites.

Your new role

• Completing floor preparation works in readiness for flooring installation
• Carrying out concrete grinding and surface preparation to required specifications
• Undertaking floor levelling works using nominated products and systems
• Completing crack repairs and surface remediation works as required
• Applying moisture treatment systems where necessary
• Assessing and preparing surfaces to meet installation requirements
• Ensuring floor level tolerances are achieved prior to installation works
• Monitoring moisture content requirements and reporting any issues
• Ensuring surface condition requirements meet project specifications
• Operating floor grinders and associated preparation equipment
• Working closely with site teams to ensure installation prerequisites are met
• Maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and quality construction

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience in floor preparation, floor restoration, flooring installation, concrete grinding, polishing, or surface remediation
• Strong understanding of:
  • Floor preparation requirements
  • Concrete grinding techniques
  • Floor levelling systems
  • Crack repair processes
  • Moisture treatment applications
  • Floor level tolerances
  • Moisture content requirements
  • Surface condition standards
  • Flooring installation prerequisites
• Experience operating floor grinders and specialist floor preparation equipment
• Ability to interpret project specifications and quality requirements
• Own tools highly regarded
• Current White Card
• Current Driving Licence and reliable transport
• Strong commitment to workplace safety
• Full working rights in Australia
