The team is passionate about delivering unforgettable experiences for guests while maintaining the highest standards of safety, reliability, and operational excellence across their fleet of vessels, pontoons, and land-based assets. We are currently seeking an experienced Fleet Engineering Manager to be part of an organisation that values innovation, collaboration, and sustainability.

Your new role

As the Fleet Engineering Manager, you'll report directly to the General Manager and play a pivotal role in ensuring the upkeep, reliability, and programmed maintenance of the fleet. You will oversee planned and unplanned maintenance, regulatory compliance, and the performance of vessel engineers. You'll also set technical operational standards and provide guidance to improve onboard technical management and standardise processes across the fleet.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Delivering scheduled maintenance programs in Helm for vessels, pontoons, and ancillary equipment.
  • Establishing technical KPIs and auditing vessel performance.
  • Leading the engineering team with proactive mentoring and training.
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance and promoting a “Safety First” culture.
  • Managing repair and maintenance budgets within operational constraints.
This dynamic role requires a hands-on approach, working closely with internal stakeholders, external contractors, and regulatory authorities.

What you'll need to succeed

To thrive in this role, you'll bring:
  • A marine superintendency or marine engineering qualification.
  • Proven experience in maritime asset management and maintenance planning.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor, train, and manage remote teams effectively.
  • Proficiency in maintenance management systems like Helm and Microsoft Office.
  • A proactive attitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Mandatory certification in Provide First Aid & Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.
