We’re on the lookout for a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join a leading mining operation in South West WA. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced tradespeople who want quality site work —perfect for candidates living around Mandurah, Bunbury, or surrounding areas.

Your new role

• Conduct routine and breakdown maintenance on fixed plant equipment
• Inspect, repair, and overhaul machinery, including crushers, conveyors, pumps, and screens
• Work efficiently under minimal supervision while maintaining safety and quality standards
• Collaborate with site supervisors and fellow maintenance personnel

What you'll need to succeed

• Ability to complete a pre-employment medical
• Be available immediately
• Australian-recognised Mechanical Trade Certificate
• Proven experience in fixed plant maintenance within mining or heavy industry
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
• Commitment to safety, with a solid understanding of isolation procedures
• Ability to work in remote and physically demanding conditions
• Current driving licence (HR preferred); forklift or elevated work platform tickets an advantage

What you'll get in return

• Day shift only (10 hours) + weekends

• $73.72 per hour + Super
