Fitter

Market leaders are looking for fitters to join their workshop in a temporary to permanent capacity.
Your Company
Your new company is a manufacturer of mining equipment. Their innovative technology ensures the highest standard of works. Based on Brisbane’s Southside, you will be working with a dedicated team for a market leader!

Your new role
Your main duties will include but not limited to assembly, machine fault-finding, equipment repairs and involvement in ongoing maintenance and general troubleshooting duties.

Shutdowns, Breakdown & Maintenance
Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, including overhauling equipment and mechanical parts
Using precision measuring instruments to assess accuracy, clearance, and fit of assembled and fabricated metal parts
Operating equipment efficiently
Following production requirements detailed on Job Sheets and Manufacturing Work Instructions

What you'll need to succeed
Trade Qualified
Experience within a manufacturing environment or similar
Hydraulics experience is advantageous
