Your new role

  • Operate CNC and manual machines to produce and reclaim precision components

  • Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and specifications

  • Set up, calibrate, and adjust machining equipment for production tasks

  • Perform quality assurance checks using precision measuring instruments

  • Assist in the overhaul and repair of hydraulic cylinders and mechanical parts

  • Work with robotic welding systems and fabrication tools as required

  • Maintain workshop equipment and ensure compliance with WHS standards

  • Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines

  • Contribute to continuous improvement and uphold company values of integrity, quality, excellence, and ownership

What you'll need to succeed

  • Trade qualification as a Fitter Machinist or similar

  • Forklift and Dogging tickets (desirable but not essential)

  • Current driver’s licence

  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening

  • Proven experience operating CNC and manual machines in a workshop environment

  • Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications

  • Proficiency in using precision measuring tools (e.g. micrometres, verniers, dial indicators)

  • Experience with hydraulic cylinder repair and component reclamation is highly regarded
