A well-established project delivery and construction management business is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join its growing South Australian team. Operating across workplace fit-outs, refurbishment projects, government facilities and commercial environments, the business delivers projects as a Head Contractor and has built a strong reputation for quality delivery, repeat clients and long-term relationships.

Your new role
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the safe and successful delivery of commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects across metropolitan and regional South Australia.
Working closely with Project Managers, subcontractors and clients, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing day-to-day site operations from mobilisation through to handover.
- Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel.
- Driving a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with WHS requirements.
- Developing and implementing staging, logistics and construction methodologies.
- Monitoring programme milestones and maintaining project schedules.
- Conducting site meetings and communicating progress updates to stakeholders.
- Managing project quality assurance and defect rectification.
- Building strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
- Assisting Project Managers with project planning, procurement and delivery strategies.
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
Projects are predominantly located within the Adelaide metropolitan area, although occasional regional travel may be required depending on project demands.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager, Foreman or Senior Supervisor within commercial construction, workplace fit-outs, retail refurbishments, interiors or similar sectors.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, staging and site logistics.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple trades and manage live project environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem solving.
- Strong understanding of WHS legislation and site safety requirements.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and effectively manage competing priorities.
- Competency using construction management software and project reporting tools.
- Trade qualifications or a construction-related background would be highly regarded.
- Previous exposure to project planning and programming would be advantageous.
