Fire Service Coordinator

An experienced Service Coordinator required for fire protection company.

Hays Recruitment has partnered with a well-respected industry leader that provides fire equipment services and maintenance to safety systems. They have an exciting opportunity for an experienced service coordinator to join their friendly team. This role is based in Heidelberg.


Your new role

This role is primarily responsible for supporting account management, coordinating service schedules and ensure the smooth and efficient operation of daily activities.

You will be accountable for:

  • Account management and customer liaison
  • Schedule and monitor technician workloads and reallocate tasks as needed.
  • Manage service callouts
  • Create and manage new reactive service job requests in a timely manner.
  • Act as the first point of contact for field technicians.
  • Process reports, quotes, and invoices
  • Monitor and manage shared inboxes to ensure timely responses
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and local authorities.
  • Manage stock ordering and allocate efficiently
  • Provide training and support to the coordinators and monitor KPI’s
  • Assist with new service agreements and set up corresponding maintenance schedules

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Demonstrated experience working in a similar role, experience in the fire industry is highly desirable
  • Industry knowledge
  • Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Experience using uptick & Xero is desirable.
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
