The Opportunity

This global law firm, with over 3000 lawyers in 30 locations, is looking for a Financial Services Lawyer with specific experience in Superannuation, Insurance, and Funds. They are looking for someone at Associate, Senior Associate, or Special Counsel level to join their tier-1 ranked team.

Your new role

You will join a large team and report into two market-leading Partners. The teams clients include major banks and wealth management institutions, super funds (industry, retail, and public sector), insurers (life and general), and investment managers and administrators. You will have access to high quality work and you will get the chance to develop your skills alongside a successful team of lawyers. You will have a varied caseload and will act and advise on:

• Transactions – both in their speciality areas (share sales as well as SFTs and insurance schemes) as well as more broadly across the firm

• Advisory – all aspects of advisory work for their clients such as:

- Optimising organisational structures

- Governance

- All aspects of a product lifecycle

- Arrangements with material service providers

- New regulatory developments and technology

- Operational and disclosure

- Investments

- Financial advice

• Regulatory issues and solutions
• Dispute resolution
