Hays is currently working with a Victorian State Government authority based within Melbourne to recruit multiple Financial Auditors to assist through a busy period.

Your new role
These vacancies will assist with the conduction of financial auditing across multiple sectors.

Your duties will include:

• Assist in audit reports and deliver quality work within agreed budgets and timeframes.

• Exercise judgement in distinguishing between material issues and seeking advice in relation to more contentious issues.

• Present audit findings, evidence, conclusions and recommendations to your team and audit clients

• Demonstrate an understanding of auditing standards and guidelines, audit methodology and processes.
  
  

What you'll need to succeed
This role requires sound knowledge of audit standards and guidelines as well as the ability to communicate effectively to present audit findings and evidence. This role will require the ability to work as a broader team and individually.

What you'll get in return
Hourly rate between $50.05 - $60.77 + Super, depending on experience, and offers flexible hybrid working arrangements. This opportunity is open to candidates with varying levels of experience and industry background. However, it is only open to candidates with proven work experience in audit.
