Your new role

• Developing, updating and maintaining costing, funding and FTE models to support business planning and resource allocation

• Analysing cost structures, funding movements and operational trends to provide insights to senior leaders

• Preparing budget inputs, forecasts and financial estimates for both project and business‑as‑usual cycles

• Reviewing and updating cost centres, establishment structures and financial mappings to ensure accuracy

• Producing monthly analysis, modelling outputs and financial commentary for executives and stakeholders

• Supporting broader finance functions beyond modelling, including budgeting, financial analysis and reporting

• Ensuring modelling processes, assumptions and methodologies are well‑documented and aligned with internal governance frameworks

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience in financial modelling, cost analysis or workforce/FTE modelling in a complex environment

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends and recommend actions

• Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial planning cycles

• Proficiency in Excel and financial systems, with the ability to manage and analyse large datasets

• Well‑developed communication skills, with the ability to present insights to operational and senior stakeholders

• Ability to work collaboratively across finance, operations and project teams

• Experience in government or health finance environments and exposure to Oracle, Power BI or modelling cubes
