Your new role

• Prepare month‑end financial reports, journals and general ledger reconciliations
• Assist with Board reporting and performance analysis
• Support the preparation of annual financial statements and external audit processes
• Deliver cash flow reporting and forecasting
• Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset register

• Assist in compliance across income tax, BAS, FBT and payroll tax
• Ensure internal controls and compliance processes are upheld

• Prepare profit‑sharing calculations for distribution
• Support budgeting processes and ad‑hoc financial analysis
• Provide user support and input into accounting system enhancements
• Review purchase orders, pricing updates and stock master‑file maintenance

• Research and assist with accounting treatment for complex business issues (e.g., acquisitions, new standards etc.)
• Drive improvements in systems, processes and reporting efficiency

What you'll need to succeed

• Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance or Commerce
• CA or CPA qualified (or near completion)
• Strong Excel skills with the ability to analyse complex data
• Experience gained in a professional accounting firm (audit, tax or business advisory, especially Big4) is highly regarded
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships across diverse stakeholder groups
• Strong organisational capability with the ability to manage competing deadlines
• Self‑motivated, proactive and committed to accuracy and quality
