A privately owned business in the transport, logistics and freight sector is seeking a driven, detail focused Accountant to become part of a growing team that has a history of long tenure, a strong company culture and continues to produce outstanding results and profitable performance. If you’re CPA qualified (or progressing) and looking to step into a hands‑on role with genuine scope to grow, this is an excellent opportunity.

Your new role

Financial accounting, reporting & forecasting.
General ledger & month‑end reporting
Prepare and post monthly journals & GL entries
Fortnightly and monthly bank reconciliations
Reconcile intercompany accounts across multiple entities
Assist with monthly P&L and balance sheet reporting
Prepare EOFY statements
Assisting with AP and payroll to support other team members.

What you'll need to succeed

Ability to work independently with a broad accounting skill set
Ensure that all financial requirements can be completed to a high standard.
Previous experience of an end-to-end role
Small to mid-sized company knowledge
CA or CPA qualification is highly desirable
