Due to ongoing expansion, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Accountant to join their Adelaide-based head office team.

Your new role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting and supporting the broader business through meaningful financial insights.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Preparation of monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
  • Ownership of balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger integrity
  • Managing end-of-month processes, including journals and accruals
  • Assisting with budgeting and forecasting cycles
  • Supporting statutory compliance including BAS, IAS, and tax requirements
  • Assisting with year-end audit processes and liaising with external auditors
  • Providing financial analysis and insights to stakeholders across the business
  • Driving process improvement and efficiencies across finance operations

What you'll need to succeed

  • CA/CPA qualified or working towards completion
  • Demonstrated experience in a Financial Accountant or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and compliance obligations
  • Proven experience managing month-end close processes
  • Advanced Excel skills and exposure to ERP systems
  • Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving capability
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner with stakeholders
