Your new role

As Financial Accountant, you will play a key role within the Financial Management Team, delivering high-quality accounting support across all departments. This position contributes to the organisation’s financial sustainability by ensuring accurate reporting, strong financial controls, and continuous improvement of processes and systems.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing asset, financial and systems accounting services to support organisational operations
  • Preparing accurate, timely, and insightful financial reports and analysis to support decision-making
  • Delivering expert financial advice and guidance to senior officers and key stakeholders
  • Supporting organisational and council-wide financial operations, budgeting processes, compliance, and statutory reporting requirements
  • Assisting with the maintenance and improvement of financial systems, controls, and procedures
  • Collaborating with internal teams to coordinate activities, streamline processes, and enhance overall financial performance

  • Be CPA or CA qualified
  • Hold an undergraduate degree in Accounting
  • Have demonstrated experience in financial accounting, reporting, and analysis
