Your new role

• Lead operations of the financial ledgers, including the end of month
• Lead delivery of financial accounting services
• Provide timely and professional advice to internal and external stakeholders
• Lead, manage and coordinate the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of current financial strategies and practices – ensuring they comply with Government Policy
• Provide financial reporting to senior management, including interpreting and analysing financial data and performance to ensure key outcomes are achieved
• Direct and lead a team
• Encourage high quality work within your team

What you'll need to succeed

• Demonstrated effectiveness in the delivery of financial management services at a senior level
• Knowledge of contemporary financial management and accounting practices
• Experience in a fast changing environment, fostering this continued change amongst the team
• Demonstrated high level conceptual and analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Previous experience within a Government Organisation is highly regarded.
• Possession of a degree in accountancy/commerce, CPA, CA qualification is highly regarded.
