Finance Systems Accountant

Newly created role in North Brisbane on a one-year fixed term contract

Your new role

Reporting into the FP&A Manager, your role will be responsible for:
  • Administering and managing the Technology One finance system
  • Extracting data and building comprehensive reports
  • Staying informed about all accounting processes within the business
  • Recommending and implementing process changes where appropriate
  • Gathering business requirements for future phases of Technology One development
  • Owning the systems functional architecture
  • Training end users on system functionalities
  • Leading finance initiatives to maximise system efficiencies
  • Preparing quality documentation and developing comprehensive system administration processes
  • Resolving outstanding system issues related to architecture, reporting, and processes
  • Developing BI dashboards and integrating with other systems


What you'll need to succeed

  • Tertiary qualification in finance, business or commerce
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Technology One systems
  • Experienced in conducting formal training sessions
  • Aptitude for technological problem-solving
  • Ability to collate and analyse complex data
  • Team-orientated with leadership capabilities
