With a sizeable share of the market, they own several well-known and well-regarded businesses. With a good sized and loyal finance team headed up by an impressive and dynamic CFO and equally impressive, Big4 trained Group FC, their continued growth has created the need for a new finance manager.

Your new role

This newly created role will see you work closely with both the CFO and particularly the Group FC to take responsibility for all the day-to-day finance activities of the various businesses that fall under the companies' ownership. You will manage and develop a team of 5 accounts officers and accountants, loyal to the business who are already doing a great job. This role is broad and includes both financial and management accounting, business partnering and analysis. At its core however, is the statutory accounting which the successful candidate will already have a strong foundation in.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have been trained in audit here in Australia and have a strong technical grounding. You will bring commercial experience to the table and will be a proven finance leader or will be ready to step up from senior accountant to finance manager. This brand-new role, reporting into a highly supportive Group FC could be a great role for a strong technical accountant who has mentored staff or managed 1 or 2 people who want to formally step up into a finance manager's position.
