Your New Role
As Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing financial operations and supporting strategic objectives. Reporting to the Executive Officer, you will manage budgeting, reporting, and compliance processes, while ensuring best practice in financial governance. You will also liaise with key stakeholders across the public sector and external service providers, contributing to the organisation’s long-term sustainability and impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and cash flow management.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, including reconciliations.
- Assist with investment portfolio administration and property management.
- Prepare monthly and annual reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain strong relationships with health sector partners and regulatory bodies.
- Contribute to strategic planning, risk management, and policy development.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Proven experience in financial management, including bookkeeping and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, accounting software, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to analyse complex financial data and provide strategic advice.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- High level of integrity and commitment to ethical practices.
- Relevant qualifications in Finance, Accounting, or Business (desirable).
