On a national scale, they develop sites for commercial purposes, ensuring they meet presentation, maintenance, and compliance standards as per Australian regulations. The Finance Manager will be integral in supporting the financial management and strategic planning for a substantial project pipeline throughout the ACT.
Position Overview
As the Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading financial operations across multiple business units. Reporting to the Group Finance Manager, you will oversee a team of accountants and contribute to the organisation’s strategic financial direction. Key responsibilities include:
  • Lead and support a team of accountants across multiple divisions, ensuring the accurate and timely production of key financial deliverables.
  • Provide timely financial advice, analysis and reports to support senior executives in decision-making.
  • Assist with budget preparation, forecasting and monitoring.
  • Managing capital expenditure and related financial activities.
  • Ensuring compliance with tax regulations and company policies.
  • Demonstrating a high understanding of Australian Accounting Standards, particularly in relation to tax standards.
  • Liaising with external auditors and stakeholders.
Key Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and CPA or CA qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills.
