Your new company
Our client is the Australian subsidiary of a listed North American medical products corporation. The company generates revenues of $45 million in Australia, making them number one in their segment.
Your new role
The company was founded in Brisbane in 2013 and acquired by the North American parent company earlier this year. As a result of this recent acquisition, the successful candidate will be critical in elevating the organisation’s financial reporting standards to Sarbanes-Oxley / US GAAP and building a professional financial management team.
The future for the organisation is very strong, and to ensure their business goals are achieved we are looking for a finance professional with a strong preference for contributing to the development of the commercial side of the business. Effectively, a business partner for the Managing Director
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate is likely to have the following attributes:
CA/CPA or equivalent qualification
Team leadership experience
Regulated or controlled product environment, for example pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, medical technology.
Multinational / matrix structure reporting experience.
SOX/US GAAP standards reporting experience or exposure to an ASX-listed environment.
Significant experience with a strong commercial focus
