Due to a team restructure, they are now looking for their next Finance Business Partner / Management Accountant on a full-time and permanent basis.
Your new role
As the Finance Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of management accounting, budgeting and forecasting. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working closely with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering accurate and timely monthly management financials
- Managing fixed asset schedules and supporting asset procurement/divestment
- Leading budgeting and forecasting processes for ginning, warehousing, and corporate units
- Maintaining the Fixed Asset Register and overseeing capex reporting
- Ensuring integrity of stock and system data, particularly spare parts
- Supporting finance systems development and business-as-usual processes
What you'll need to succeed
- CA, CPA or CIMA membership (ideal but not essential)
- 5+ years of technical accounting knowledge (gained in a fast-moving commercial environment)
- Deep understanding of Australian Accounting Standards and tax legislation
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and exposure to a large-scale ERP (JDE preferred)
- Ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights
- Business partnering and key stakeholder relationship management skills
