Position Summary
The Site Administrator supports day-to-day operations on a remote project site in Maningrida. This role is essential for maintaining administrative efficiency, supporting safety documentation, and ensuring smooth coordination between site teams and head office. The position operates on a FIFO roster of 3 weeks on / 1 week off.
Key Responsibilities
- Print and distribute construction drawings and documentation.
- Set up and maintain site signage in accordance with project requirements.
- Track and chase outstanding paperwork from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Assist with safety documentation including SWMS (Safe Work Method Statements) and JSAs (Job Safety Analyses).
- Perform general site administration duties including data entry, filing, and document control.
- Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to support project delivery.
Selection Criteria
Essentials:
- Previous experience in site administration or similar role in construction or remote project environments.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with safety documentation and compliance processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting and adapt to changing priorities.
Desirable:
- Experience working in remote Aboriginal communities.
- Understanding of construction workflows and terminology.
- Knowledge of WHS practices and procedures.
Remuneration
- Hourly Rate:
Competitive, based on experience. - Annual Equivalent:
Approximately $110-$120k Salary + Superannuation.
Additional Information
- FIFO roster: 3 weeks on / 1 week off.
- Accommodation and travel are provided during rostered work periods.
- Must hold a current NT Driving Licence and be eligible for an Ochre Card.
