Employment Type: Permanent, part-time to full-time (0.6–1.0 FTE)
FIFO Roster: 1:1 (weekdays only, 38-hour week)
Your new role
As a Counsellor, your responsibilities will include:
Provide counselling to young people (0–18) and adult carers, including Aboriginal and CaLD communities
Use brief and therapeutic interventions
Establish and support self-help groups
Develop wellbeing care plans using a strengths-based approach
- Engage with local service providers and promote the organisation
What you'll need to succeed
Tertiary degree in Counselling, Psychology, or Social Work
Previous counselling experience
Current Driving Licence
Proof of Australian working rights
Willingness to obtain a National Police Clearance (within 6 months), Working with Children Card & First Aid Certificate
