FIFO Chef – Casual | Flying From Perth

We’re looking for talented and experienced chefs to join our casual pool and support a range of high ‑ performing sites across WA.

Your New Company

Hays Recruitment partners with several leading accommodation and catering providers operating throughout Western Australia. You’ll be joining teams known for their professionalism, safety focus, and commitment to delivering high ‑ quality meals in fast ‑ paced environments.

Your New Role

You’ll be a Trade ‑ Qualified Chef holding a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent). These roles involve bulk catering, working across both day and night shifts in mining villages throughout the Pilbara and Goldfields.

Rosters are typically 2:1 or 1:1 , with 10–12 hour Shifts .

All positions fly in and out of Perth , so you must be WA ‑ based and available to mobilise at short notice.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

Chefs with bulk catering experience—whether FIFO or metro—are strongly encouraged to apply.

You will also need:

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
• Willingness to obtain a current National Police Clearance (paid by Hays)
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
• Ability to complete all required site inductions
• Two contactable references from the past 12 months
• Ability to pass a pre ‑ employment medical, including fitness assessment and ongoing drug & alcohol testing
• WA residency and availability to FIFO from Perth Airport
