Your new role

As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality maintenance, inspection and repair services across industrial equipment and machinery. This full-time position involves both on-site and workshop-based work, including preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, brake and hydraulic power unit overhauls, detailed reporting, and building strong working relationships with clients. The role also requires working off-site and remotely for up to two weeks per month, collaborating closely with the technical team to resolve complex issues efficiently.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Minimum 2 years’ trade experience with hydraulic systems or conveying braking systems

  • Mechanical or Hydraulic Certificate III (or higher) in a related field

  • Proven experience in field service or on-site maintenance (fixed or mobile plant)

  • Strong fault-finding, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and customer service capability

  • Willingness to learn and stay current with industry developments

  • Current valid driver’s licence and ability to travel to job sites

  • Coal Board Medical & Standard 11 – highly desirable
