Your new role
As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality maintenance, inspection and repair services across industrial equipment and machinery. This full-time position involves both on-site and workshop-based work, including preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, brake and hydraulic power unit overhauls, detailed reporting, and building strong working relationships with clients. The role also requires working off-site and remotely for up to two weeks per month, collaborating closely with the technical team to resolve complex issues efficiently.
What you'll need to succeed
Minimum 2 years’ trade experience with hydraulic systems or conveying braking systems
Mechanical or Hydraulic Certificate III (or higher) in a related field
Proven experience in field service or on-site maintenance (fixed or mobile plant)
Strong fault-finding, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and customer service capability
Willingness to learn and stay current with industry developments
Current valid driver’s licence and ability to travel to job sites
Coal Board Medical & Standard 11 – highly desirable
