Your new role

As the Field Service Manager, you will lead a high-performing team of field service technicians and service administrators, ensuring the efficient delivery of technical services across the Tasmanian region. Reporting to the General Manager – Service, you will play a key role in driving operational excellence, safety compliance, and continuous improvement.

Your responsibilities will include:

Leading and managing the day-to-day operations of the service team to ensure service and compliance KPIs are met.
Coaching and mentoring staff to foster a high-performance, safety-first culture.
Managing key client relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Providing technical support and guidance to the team in order to troubleshoot or escalate issues.
Monitoring performance metrics and implementing service improvements.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Proven leadership experience in a service delivery environment.
Strong skills in scheduling, resource management, and team development.
A solid understanding of technical service operations, including breakdowns and preventative maintenance.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
A proactive approach to continuous improvement and WHS compliance.
