About the Role
This company are seeking qualified Sheet Metal Workers / Fabricators to join their small, experienced team. This is a hands on role where you will be responsible for completing jobs from laser cut components through to finished, installation ready products. You will be running jobs at the bench and working closely with the design and management team to deliver high-quality outcomes.

A typical job includes:
  • Receiving laser‑cut sheet metal
  • Press brake folding
  • TIG welding
  • Fabrication and assembly
  • Grinding, sanding, polishing, and finishing
  • Cutting and welding tube frames
  • Producing work to architectural and commercial standards
Jobs are varied and often unique, meaning no two days are the same.

Types of Work You Will Be Doing
Projects regularly include:
  • Commercial kitchen and bar fit outs for clubs, cafes, restaurants, and hotels
  • Stainless steel benches, shelving, hoods, and canopies
  • Architectural feature walls, screens, and decorative metal work
  • School canteens, hospitals, aged care facilities, and medical laboratories
  • Custom brass, copper, and zinc doors and architectural elements
  • Balustrades, bollards, frames, and structural stainless components

What You Will Need
  • Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication (Essential)
  • Proven experience in stainless steel fabrication
  • Strong TIG welding skills
  • Ability to read, understand, and work from shop drawings and plans
  • Experience with folding, fabrication, welding, and finishing
  • High attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
  • Strong time management and problem solving skills
  • Polishing and finishing of stainless steel, brass, and copper
