A well-capitalised gold exploration and production company has kicked off mining at a high-impact open-pit site and is rapidly scaling up its technical team. With a multi-million-ounce gold resource in one of Australia’s most prospective greenstone belts, the company is unlocking value across a portfolio of advanced prospects and operational hubs. Covering over 4,000 km², the project is strategically located among some of the country’s most prolific gold producers—positioning it for accelerated growth and discovery.

Your new role

• Managing tenements, including reporting, resource assessment, and strategic recommendations
• Providing technical guidance and input to corporate, operational, and exploration teams for planning and budgeting
• Designing and implementing exploration programs to advance the project pipeline
• Overseeing drilling programs from design to execution
• Managing geological systems and databases
• Mentoring junior staff and collaborating with operations teams

What you'll need to succeed

• Solid understanding of gold mineralisation models
• Skilled in geophysical and geochemical survey interpretation
• Proficient in mining software (e.g., Surpac, Datamine, Leapfrog)
• Demonstrated leadership with a practical, hands-on approach
• Experience in other commodities is advantageous
• Degree in Geology or a related discipline
• Strong experience in gold geology
