Your new role
Reporting into the Chief Executive’s office, you will provide high-level executive support to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the office. This is a trusted Executive Assistant role requiring discretion, sound judgement and the ability to manage competing priorities with confidence.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Proactive management of the CEO’s diary, travel and meeting schedule
- Drafting, reviewing and coordinating high-quality correspondence, including liaison with the offices of responsible Ministers
- Coordinating briefings, meeting papers and executive documentation
- Ensuring accurate record-keeping and excellent document and information management practices
- Acting as a key point of contact between the executive and a broad range of internal and external stakeholders
- Supporting governance, Ministerial and Parliamentary processes in line with government protocols
This role suits an experienced EA who is comfortable operating in a senior executive and government environment.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Proven experience in a high-level administrative or executive support role, supporting senior executives
- Exceptional written communication skills with strong attention to detail and experience quality-assuring formal documents
- Highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise professionally with a wide range of stakeholders
- Outstanding organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines using office systems effectively
- Sound knowledge of State Government processes, including Ministerial and Parliamentary procedures and protocols
Experience in a State Government or similarly complex environment will be highly regarded.
