Your new role
- Lead execution of structural maintenance, coatings, access, and concrete remediation works
- Supervise contractors to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with site and ISO standards
- Deliver work to plan, managing progress, costs, and productivity while escalating risks early.
- Ensure all ITPs, documentation, and work packs are completed and signed off accurately
- Own Week 0 execution and contribute to forward planning to ensure readiness
- Drive a strong safety culture through visible leadership, structured pre-starts, and clear expectations.
- Manage performance across work fronts, ensuring targets are met, and the plant is returned safely to service.
- Support inspections, defect prioritisation, incident response, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Build strong relationships across operations, maintenance, and engineering teams while maintaining clear shift handovers
What you'll need to succeed
- Mechanical trade or engineering background
- Proven experience in asset integrity or heavy industry environments
- Demonstrated ability to lead contractors and deliver maintenance or remediation programmes
- Strong commitment to safety and structured, disciplined execution
- Results-driven mindset with a high level of ownership and accountability
- Ability to prioritise and manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience in coal, CHPP, or similar processing environments
