With a national footprint and headquarters based interstate, the Sydney operation is a tight‑knit, high‑performing team supported by strong systems, proven processes and direct access to senior leadership. The majority of work delivered is fast‑paced commercial fit‑out and refurbishment, supported by services‑heavy and specialist hydraulics scopes.

Your new role

Due to an active and consistent tender pipeline, the business is seeking an Estimator to join the Sydney team, based in the Eastern Suburbs .

You will work closely with the Estimating Manager and the General Manager , playing a key role in pricing strategy, subcontractor engagement and tender delivery. While the role offers autonomy, you’ll be well supported by senior leadership and a solid commercial backbone.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing and delivering weekly tenders across fit‑out, refurbishment, hydraulics and services‑intensive projects
• Running tenders end‑to‑end, largely working independently on submissions
• Completing detailed take‑offs using CostX and building accurate, competitive cost plans
• Engaging closely with the Estimating Manager and General Manager on strategy, risk and pricing decisions
• Building strong, long‑term relationships with subcontractors and suppliers
• Attending site walks and engaging directly with project stakeholders
• Managing multiple tenders in a fast‑paced environment

This role suits a dynamic estimator who enjoys being close to the market, building relationships, and taking ownership of outcomes.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience as an Estimator within fit-out & refurbishment
• Strong exposure to fit‑out and refurbishment projects (services and/or hydraulics experience highly regarded)
• Experience pricing government or structured institutional work is advantageous
• Ability to run tenders autonomously while collaborating with senior stakeholders
• Proficiency with CostX and strong Excel capability
• Confident communicator with a cyberrelationship approach to subcontractor engagement
• Comfortable working at pace with regular tender deadlines
