Your new role

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Estimator to join a strong, existing preconstruction team. Working closely with Estimating Managers and senior stakeholders, you’ll be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates across a range of fit-out and refurbishment projects.

You’ll be fully supported by experienced colleagues and robust processes, allowing you to focus on producing high-quality tenders rather than working in isolation. This role suits an estimator who enjoys collaboration and wants to be part of a team focused on continual improvement and winning the right work.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions
• Reviewing drawings, specifications, and scopes of work
• Engaging with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain pricing
• Working closely with Estimating Managers and the wider deconstruction team
• Assisting with value engineering and cost planning where required

What you'll need to succeed

• 
  
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience estimating within the fit-out and refurbishment industry
  • Australian industry experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of fit-out/refurb construction methodologies and pricing
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
  • Strong attention to detail with a commercial mindset
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
