With a strong pipeline of future developments, a focus on strategic growth, and a commitment to diversification, we are seeking a highly experienced Estimating Manager to join their team in a key leadership role.
Your New Role
As an Estimating Manager, you will be a vital member of a driven and collaborative leadership team, overseeing a talented estimating department with a dedicated focus on their projects portfolio. You will drive workflow efficiency, quality control, and cost management across a diverse portfolio, including Townhome developments and Education centres.
Key Responsibilities:
- Resource management and operational workflow oversight
- Quality control throughout the estimating process, including BOQ creation, production estimating, PO release, ETO reporting, and budget/margin reviews
- Cost management, monitoring market trends in materials and labour pricing
- Continuous improvement, enhancing internal systems and developing team capabilities
What You Need to Succeed
To be considered for this role, you should demonstrate:
- Strong tenure and experience in Construction Estimating, including proven tenure in leadership positions
- A proven track record of end-to-end delivery of medium-density or similar projects
- High proficiency in Databuild, Planswift, or similar estimating software
- Technical expertise in construction methodologies, workflow management, supplier negotiations, and cost control
- A leadership approach centred on communication, collaboration, and continuous improvement
