ERP and Applications Manager

Permanent Melbourne West role with flexibility and the opportunity to own the ERP and technology roadmap

Your new company

Join a well-established and growing organisation based in Melbourne’s western suburbs, operating in a complex, multi-system environment. The company has invested heavily in its Microsoft ecosystem and is now seeking a hands-on technology leader to take true ownership of its core platforms, processes and integrations.
This is an opportunity to step into a role where you will influence how technology enables operational performance, scalability and long-term growth.

Your new role

Reporting into senior leadership, you will take end-to-end ownership of enterprise applications and technology platforms, with a strong focus on Dynamics 365 Business Central, Power Platform and the broader cloud environment.
You will act as the central point of accountability across ERP governance, systems integration and process optimisation, ensuring platforms are aligned to business needs and continuously improved.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Owning and optimising the D365 Business Central environment, including governance, enhancements, and process alignment.
  • Driving process standardisation, documentation and continuous improvement across systems.
  • Leading the Power Platform ecosystem (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate) to deliver reporting and automation outcomes.
  • Overseeing systems integration across ERP, CRM and operational platforms.
  • Contributing to and executing a cloud and infrastructure roadmap.
  • Managing vendor relationships, ensuring delivery, performance, and value.
  • Providing leadership across IT operations while balancing BAU and project delivery.
This is a highly visible role suited to someone who thrives on ownership and enjoys working across both strategic and hands-on delivery.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be a commercially minded technology leader with a strong application and ERP background, ideally within a mid-sized environment.
You will bring:
  • Proven experience owning or managing an ERP platform (ideally Dynamics 365 Business Central).
  • Strong capability across the Microsoft Power Platform and data/reporting environments.
  • Experience managing end-to-end processes, systems integration, and platform governance.
  • Exposure to cloud environments and modernisation initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage vendors and drive accountability.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technology solutions.
  • A proactive, ownership-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

What you'll get in return

  • Opportunity to own and shape the organisation’s core technology landscape
  • A role with genuine influence across operations and leadership
  • Exposure to ongoing ERP optimisation, cloud transformation and digital initiatives
  • A collaborative environment where technology is seen as a key business enabler
  • Competitive salary package aligned to experience
