We are working with a large public hospital in Perth, who are seeking expressions of interest for a switchboard operator.

Your new role

As a Switchboard Operator, you will be the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and staff, ensuring efficient and effective communication within our hospital. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Handling incoming and outgoing calls with professionalism and courtesy.

  • Directing calls to the appropriate departments and personnel.

  • Providing information and assistance to callers

  • Maintaining accurate records of calls and messages.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Previous experience on a busy switchboard is essential.

  • Proficiency in using switchboard systems and related technology.
