Your new company

This Big Four Bank provides an attractive range of consumer, business and institutional banking as well as wealth management services. Due to an increase in volumes, the everyday banking team are looking to add a member to their well-established team.
This is an entry-level banking role which provides full support & training along with career progression.

Your new role

This is the perfect entry-level banking role for any Commerce/ Finance/ Business graduate and/or candidate holding previous customer service, retail or hospitality experience looking to gain exposure in a Big 4 Bank.
Duties will include:

  • Processing transactions for Relationships Managers and Bankers' customers
  • These requests are varied and can be high in volume, which include transfers, payments, reconciliation, account maintenance, opening accounts, ordering cards, changing names on accounts etc.
  • Uploading information to, and processing transactions on multiple systems
  • Following strict processes and procedures and working to deadlines
  • Liaising with internal teams as and when required

What you'll need to succeed

  • We are looking to hear from reliable, organised and hard-working individuals who are keen to start and progress their career within a Big 4 Bank.

  • You will possess strong administrative skills and be able to pick up systems, changes and processes quickly.

  • We are also looking for proactive individuals who will focus on continuous improvement and bring fresh ideas.

  • In addition, you will demonstrate excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and you will be able to prioritise your workload effectively to deal with high volumes.


What you'll get in return

  • This is a temporary role for an initial 9 months with scope to extend and most likely become permanent following good performance

  • Located in Parramatta, you will be rewarded with a competitive rate of $37hr + Superannuation

  • During training you will be required to work full time in the office 5 days per week for the first 3 months and thereafter will have the opportunity to work from home 2-3 days per week

  • Working Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, you will enjoy an exciting and thriving work environment

  • The role offers full training, a career pathway in other areas of lending and banking and will start your career in financial services.
