Your new role
As an Enterprise Architect, you will lead enterprise architecture strategy and execution, ensuring technology aligns with business outcomes. You’ll provide expert guidance across ICT investments, governance, and future planning. You’ll also:
- Lead architecture planning and stakeholder engagement.
- Develop roadmaps, standards, and reference models.
- Advise on ICT investments and strategic priorities.
- Represent the organisation in cross-government forums.
- Ensure compliance with security and data regulations.
- Translate technical insights into business impacts.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience driving large-scale architectural change and fostering innovation.
- Ability to align technology capabilities with enterprise-wide business goals.
- Strong collaboration skills across government and contribution to national architecture initiatives.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, including senior leadership communication.
- Success in evaluating and promoting emerging technologies for organisational benefit.
- Commitment to ethical standards and public sector values.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field; TOGAF or equivalent architectural certification.
- Ample experience as an Enterprise Architect in insurance, financial services, disability or health domains.
- Experience in multi-cloud environments, digital transformation, UML, UX/CX design, and accessibility-compliant technologies.
