We are currently seeking several permanent engineering resources for a leading defence prime based in Melbourne.

Lethality Explosive Ordnance Engineers:

  • You will have detailed knowledge and experience of Defence EO technical regulatory frameworks, government decision-making processes, and the ADF’s mission and requirements.

  • You will be responsible for the design, development, test and evaluation and verification/validation of integration of Explosive Ordnance.

  • You will have provision of EO engineering Subject Matter Expertise (SME) support to the project Weapons Engineer.

  • You will be involved with the planning, design, conduct and reporting on EO-to-platform integration activities (e.g. Safety and Suitability for Service assessments);

  • Provision of engineering input into, and review of, weapon systems-related engineering tasks

  • Contribution to systems engineering activities including requirements analysis and management, system safety, configuration audits, and verification and validation activities.

  • Support risk analysis through provision of Subject Matter Expertise in the area of Explosive Ordnance engineering, to ensure that key risks are identified, monitored and mitigated;

Senior Protection Systems Engineers

  • Responsible for integrating, implementing and conducting systems engineering design, development, verification, and validation of the protection systems (Survivability against mine blast, ballistics and fragmentation) that will be integrated.

  • Work collaboratively with all subcontractors including, Aerospace companies and systems integrators.

  • Undertake protection engineering activities two major program, requirements development, analysis and management, system integration assessment, technical data management, verification and validation planning, test execution and test reporting activities.

  • Provides extensive subject matter expertise and technical advice in the area of vehicle protection and survivability.

  • You will have detailed knowledge and experience in Defence EO technical regulatory frameworks, government decision-making processes, and the ADF’s mission and requirements.
