We are seeking experienced engineering professionals to join an air traffic management project. These roles are critical in delivering next-generation air traffic management systems, based globally. We currently have multiple roles and levels in the engineering space based in the Melbourne CBD, attractive daily rates with work-life balance and work-from-home flexibility.

Your new role

Senior Engineering Specialist
Provide technical leadership and ensure the readiness of complex systems throughout the design, development, testing, and implementation phases. You will act as a trusted technical advisor, manage engineering governance, and support integration and verification activities.

Verification and Validation – ATM Engineer

This role sits within the Systems Engineering discipline and plays a key role in ensuring complex ATM solutions meet defined functional, regulatory, and contractual requirements. You will work closely with systems engineers, software teams, subcontractors, and the customer to plan, conduct, and report verification activities across the program lifecycle.

Senior Integration Engineer - ATM
Systems integration engineer with systems / software background. Supporting system‑of‑systems environment operating under rigorous safety, governance, and compliance frameworks.

  • Act as the technical point of contact for engineering matters.
  • Provide leadership and guidance across design, development, testing, and verification activities.
  • Manage technology change processes, configuration management, and risk identification.
  • Prepare and review engineering documentation, including governance and test plans.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, security, and system management frameworks.



What you'll need to succeed

  • Degree in Engineering or Information Technology (or equivalent).
  • Air traffic management experience or similar (c4i)
  • Demonstrated experience in systems engineering and technical leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of real-time systems, distributed architectures, and configuration management.
  • Excellent stakeholder and vendor management skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain NV1 Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
  • (Highly desirable) Eligibility for Professional Engineer registration (RPEQ) or Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng).
