They are seeking an experienced Engineer who specialises in Extra Low Voltage (ELV) services, to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful delivery of many exciting building services projects across Australia, maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Your new role

As an Extra Low Voltage (ELV) Engineer, you’ll play a key role in managing ELV services across high-profile property development projects in Melbourne, Sydney, and Perth. Working within the Property Design & Development team, you’ll oversee the coordination, integration, and delivery of diverse ELV systems—from fire detection and AV to BMS, SCADA, and security systems. You’ll collaborate with consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure technical excellence and compliance across all phases of the project lifecycle. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering exposure to large-scale commercial and hospitality developments, with a strong focus on innovation and modernisation.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Technical expertise in ELV systems including fire alarms, AV, access control, CCTV, BMS, SCADA, PLCs/DDCs, lighting control, GRMS, and wireless technologies.
  • Project management/co-ordination experience in building services, engineering, or construction, ideally within large-scale commercial or entertainment environments.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence, negotiate, and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities, capable of managing multiple priorities and delivering under tight deadlines.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field and professional membership with Engineers Australia.
  • A commitment to compliance, safety, and quality assurance, with a proactive approach to regulatory standards and documentation.
