My clients are global tech leaders who require an Electronics Technician due to expansion.
Your new role
Manufacturing and assembly of electronic parts and products, which includes:
- Using basic hand tools – screwdriver, circlip, pliers, cutters
- Soldering (ensuring fume extraction and pressure), crimping, wiring
- Engraving
- Part assembly using hands
- Application of RTV silicone
Testing of electronic parts or products either prior to commissioning, or upon return from use. This involves:
- Conducting visual checks for damage
- Conducting polarity checks using multimeters
- Conducting voltage checks utilising a variety of equipment such as oscilloscopes, battery analysers, power suppliers
- Checking the charging functioning and capacity
Conducting repairs to damaged electronic parts or products:
- Cleaning parts for ease of inspection using appropriate chemicals, including spray & wipe and iso propylene
- Unassembly of larger products/parts to fix smaller components.
What you'll need to succeed
- 2+ years of industry experience in a similar role
- Ability to clearly write accurate and routine descriptions of work performed.
- Basic computer literacy.
