Electro-Mechanical Design Engineer

Vacancy available for a mechanical engineer specialising in electromechanical design based in Adelaide

Your new role

As an Electromechenical Design Engineer, you will work closely with the project team and be responsible for:


· Create 3D model from scratch in Creo Parametric
· Create 2D drawing with detail dimensioning in all projection views and sectional views
· Create and document Bill of Materials in PDM
· Create 3D printed part to validate CAD model before executing tool modification
· Create quality control specification documents and tolerance requirements
· Review the Design for Manufacturing (DFM) with Industrialisation and Tooling teams
· Review metrology report
· Review sample part’s CC and Cpk to give decision for mass production or rework

What you'll need to succeed

You will have experience working in a manufacturing environment working with electrical components and be a qualified mechanical engineer. You will have excellent attention to detail, great attention to detail and comfortably take ownership to deliver outcomes.
